Disable right click context menu in windows explorer

Hi friends, today I will tell you how to disable and enable right click contest menu in windows explore. Context menu is the menu that appears when you right click anywhere. Here is the simplest trick to disable that, without using any software. This trick is not much useful for the users because they don't need to disable right click, Do you? But then also, I am providing for the basic knowledge purpose. I am doing this by editing the registry.

Follow these simple steps:

1. Go to "run".
2. Type "regedit" without quotes and hit enter.
3. If asked for permission, click yes.
4. Browse to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
5. Create a new 32-bit DWORD value on the right hand side named NoViewContextMenu with one of these values:
     Enable Context menu: 0
     Disable context menu: 1

These changes are instant. Disabling of context menu doesn't require restart but enabling may. SO don't lose patience while enabling context menu. Just restart your system.
Note that this setting could also be set under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE as well, so you should check both places if this doesn’t work.
Enjoy hacking.
