How to activate 2-step verification in facebook

Hello friend, in my last post I have told you how to activate 2-step verification in gmail. Today I am going to show you how to activate the same in facebbok. It means when you enter correct password in the password field then instead of directly opening your gmail account, a verification code will be sent to your mobile and after entering this

verification code, you will be logged in into your facebook. This enhances security in the facebook account. Suppose you have given your password to any of your friends or he/she might have stolen your password, the also he wont be able to log in into your account.

Follow these simple steps.

1. To activate 2-step verification, you have to ad your phone number to facebbok. See here if you don't know how to add mobile to facebook. If you don't want to activate text notification then OFF it.

2. Go to Security tab. Click "Edit" of "Login approvals". You may edit other security setting also, but don't modify any setting without proper understanding.

3. Check the box. Then a "Set up box" will open. Click on "Set up now".

4. Re-enter your password, if asked.

5. Select your country and write mobile number.

     (You might not get all these steps if you have already added a phone. Then you will get a choice to select your phone for login approvals, and follow the instructions).

6. After clicking Continue, Facebbok will send a confirmation code to the phone you entered. Enter the confirmation code in the next step.

7. Click on "confirm".

8. You are done with finishing the setup. Next time when you login from any unrecognized device then facebook will ask for login approvals.
